The Microaces Aero SE5a is designed from the ground up and is possibly the most detailed and realistic microscale aircraft of its type. The airframe is designed to take most ultra micro RC equipment found in similar sized RTF aircraft. Double sided printing directly onto foam ensures a light, low wing load aircraft with lots of character and predictable flight characteristics.
History in the Making

Our love of aviation history ensures that the aircraft we choose to reproduce as kits not only look fantastic on static display and in the air, but they also carry a depth of history that can be explored. The Royal Aircraft Factory SE5a was an all round fighter that was much admired by those that flew it. And with the detail that we can incorporate into the print and build, it’s almost like flying a professionally finished static model!

History in the Making

Edward ‘Mick’ Mannock was one of the greatest fighter aces of WWI. He was a pioneer of fighter aircraft tactics in aerial warfare. At the time of his death he had amassed 61 aerial victories, making him the fifth highest scoring pilot of the war.

New Livery and Revised Kit

The New Microaces SE5a revised kit includes more scale detail, increased strength and incorporates new dihedral bracing too. It also now comes with a printed full colour Assembly Guide included in the box.

This Microaces kit is now supplied ‘as standard’ with the most suitable Microaces motor/gearbox and propeller combination for the model.

So to complete the kit for radio controlled flight, all you need is an All In One (AIO) Receiver that’s compatible with your transmitter.
